The Recreational Division teams can be made up of any combination of girls and/or guys, there are no gender specifications.  This division is for players just wanting to have fun and/or that are just starting out in the sport of volleyball.  Players will have a familiarity of how the game is played but may not necessarily know all of the rules of volleyball.  Players in the Recreational division are not allowed to jump serve, power serve, or forcefully spike the ball.  Recreational division players will not have, nor demonstrate, the skills of an upper division player.  Recreational teams are required to play with 6 players on the court during games but may have a maximum of 10 players on their roster.  Teams can pick-up subs each week if they are short players but must have at least 3 rostered players on the courts for games to avoid forfeiting.  Teams that make the playoffs at the end of the season may only use players off their roster.  No subs will be allowed in any playoff games.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

**The Recreational Division is reserved for recreational players and teams.  Players in upper divisions are not allowed to play in the Recreational Division at any time.  Teams in this division must play with 6 players on the court during games.  If you have played with TVL in an upper division in the past, you will not be permitted to play in the Recreational Division unless a written request has been submitted to and approved by the TVL Board of Directors.  To submit a request, email director@tulsavball.org.
